I just got my puller in Saturday from an on-line order and was wondering if it is acutally a Hornady product.
It says something like made by "Quinetics Co.".
The package that it came in has the Hornady name.
Is this the company that supplies/makes the puller for Hornady?
The product is made of all clear plastic with an aluminum shaft.
Also, the rubber o-ring that surrounds the collet is cracked or cut in one place between the three separate parts. Is this normal? Or is the O-ring supposed to be in one piece?
Thanks for any input.

When you're done with the impact puller and you decide to upgrade to a collet puller, I wholeheartedly recommend the Hornady collet puller. I've tried it side by side with the RCBS and the Hornady model beats it by a long shot. It is one of the best loading tools it own.

I've done the impact hammer thing and hated it. I'll never use one again.

Yes. They make the RCBS model as well. Believe they're out of San Antonio, Texas. All the companies outsource somewhat.

Supposed to be in one piece. Have then send you another or buy a local replacement, they're cheap. Or better still, use a shell holder from your press instead.
