OP rugercollector Campfire Member Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 238 Central Louisiana	Fellows, I know that I read somewhere, that you need to load with medium burning powders for semi autos and pumps. Do any of you have any information on this or could you point me in the right direction? Ive never loaded for a semi or pump but Ive got a friend thats wanting to try it. We have him some small base dies ordered right now so we know that much about it. Thanks in advance! RC

The use of medium burn rate powders is mandatory in some rifles and not at all in others. Give a man a fish and he eats for a day. Give a man a welfare check, a forty ounce malt liquor, a crack pipe, an Obama phone, free health insurance. and some Air Jordan's and he votes Democrat for a lifetime.

High_Brass Campfire Tracker Joined: Jan 2004 Posts: 4,218 Parkersburg, WV	I load for a Remington pump (30-06) and use the same powder that I would use in bolt action format (H-4350). I don't load for semi-autos so I cannot comment. Karma and Trouble have busses, and there's always an empty seat.
