what bullet and powder weight do you recommend for reloading 45 colt for targets using titegroup

I shoot 255 grain Lead bullets in my 1873 Colt ( 3rd reproduction series)... but I didn't like tight group... I have migrated from Unique to TrailBoss...

I use 7.5 Unique under a 250 grain bullet for target & CAS.
