For those of you that read the Bowhunting section on a regular basis you may recognize member "Jim in Oregon". He is a frequent poster and very knowledgeable in archery and bowmaking. I have been experimenting with bowmaking myself and he has been very helpful in the learning process. I do not know Jim personally but certainly regard him as one of the Gold members of this forum. He even went out of his way to call me and walk me thru some of the building steps. He even did not scorn me when I mentioned that I shoot a compound bow. His love of archery and all of the history and pleasures associated with it are obvious. Thanks Jim...

Now you've embarrassed me..:0
Seriously tho..IF you want a piece of the MOSO bamboo flooring and a strip of nodes on bamboo to try your hand at a serious 'board bow' let me know and I'll send the items to you for the cost of USPS
I also have a few pieces of yew and osage that'll make good hunting bows when you are ready to give that a try..Jim
PS;
The pics of the board bows you've made for the daughter and her drawing them in her jammies are priceless..:) Jim

Her form is much better in those pics than in real life. I need to make a copy of that photo and show it to her prior to shooting sessions. Those were not jammies, consider it suburban camouflage...
