(Replacement may be with comparable model at Pentax's discretion if the original model is no longer available.)

I assume that the scope has already been sold since I can't find it on his website or I would be on it like a duck on a junebug!

FWIW I bought one of the 8x43 SPs from Doug for $349.99 and I am very satisfied with my purchase. As always Doug's demos are indistinguishable from new. The binoculars performance is excellent and worth much more than the price I paid for it.

...and if I noticed correctly there appears to be an original 8x43 WP for sale with case for $139.99. That is just a silly price for that type of performance.

Like FrankD I bought one of the 8X43 SPs from Doug. Everything FrankD said. Great service, too.

I snagged one of the 1.75-5X 20mm tube scopes. For an inexpensive scope, its very impressive.

Just bought one of the NRA Show Pentax Pioneers. The one I got has more than what I would call "Some of the riflescopes have been mounted at the show and may have ring marks. Nothing extensive, however, they may be a mark." Mine has scuffing on the adjustment ring, a very light ring mark behind the adjusments and a tube that is crushed by .010 behind the objective. Still usable but not the minor marks I was expecting. Just a FYI.

Just wanted to add, that to be fair to Cameraland I have to say that the scope was shrinkwrapped in the original packaging so CL had no way of knowing the condition of the scope. Think they have been slightly misled as to condition by Pentax USA though.

Just got back from the fishing trip and this is the first I am seeing of this. I will be in the store tomorrow. PLEASE call me so we can make this right. Those scopes come in to us shrink wrapped and I now see that we need to cut them open and inspect them before shipping. Call me, please

I see it as part of the deal with getting a price break. I have bad stuff that were NIB. Doug will handle it. It' just one of those things.
