Anyone out there have any experience with the new T/C Icon. They seem a little weird but I hear they shoot great.

Wow! I guess the high price tag is keeping everyone away from these guns.

Just held one at Cabelas. Seems like a nice enough rifle, but can't comment on the functionability of it. For a special addition stainless, Lipsey's has a 7-08 that can't be found everywhere. Too much money for me though. http://www.lipseys.com/itemdetail.a...;finish=Stainless&stock=Ultra%20Wood

Wow, they are proud of that 7-08. T/C has his a lot of homeruns lately but I am not sure the Icon is going to get out of the park.

I won't comment on the functionality of that word.
By the way, in case you missed it, Jeremiah was a bullfrog.

There are a few of the new ones at Gander Mountain here in Wausau. They have a different bolt handle than the first models that came out. I though they looked nice. They had a bead blast finish on them like the Ruger Hawkeye.
I did think it was heavy, but I'm normally a stand sitter anyway.

For the price tag of that 7mm08 they better have a 1" gaurantee at 100 yards or they're way over priced, imho. pp

The proper term is "Functionification".

"I won't comment on the functionality of that word." I thought grammer/spelling correction was outlawed on this site!! Guess I'll have to scan the dictionary for a proper education before I submit from now on.

When I worked at Sportsmans Warehouse we had one that collected dust for wuite a while. I am not a fan of them.

I handled one at Sportsman's Warehouse and the bolt was one of the smoothest I've ever cycled. But overall I thought the rifle was butt ugly, something that Dr. Frankenstein might have put together.
