CZ550 Campfire Regular C Joined: May 2008 Posts: 1,463 Likes: 4 Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, Canad...	458 Win Mag/350-gr TSX at 2700 fps for bull moose in Northern Ontario in October. 45-70 Improved in Ruger No.1/350-gr TSX at 2400 fps for black bear in Central Ontario in September. 44 Rem Mag (265-gr Hor. at 1700 fps) and/or 300 Win Mag (190-gr Hor at 3000 fps+) for northern whitetail, coyote, wolf, etc; depending on where I'm hunting on a given day. See if I take the .308 loaded up fairly hot, it is actually a .30-06 with factory ammo, because that is loaded down these days. Or is it the other way, if I'm using the .30-06? Then if I load the .06 hot with tsx, I'm actually using a .300WM equivallent from the 60's. Don't have a clue of what I'd be using if I load my .300WM with a hot barnes tsx. Same with my .280AI. It could be a 7RM or even a 7-08 since I do not have a Chrony. See how the fire can get you turned around? Guess I better just grab my old .32WS. Don't think anybody screwed around with that chambering lately. Battue laissez les bons temps rouler
