Wondered about folks experience with these rifles. I'm getting real serious about purchasing one & thought I'd ask for first hand reports from those who've used/own them.

Thanks

I've shot some, and own a 50 beowulf. I'm not thrilled with Lothar barrels, but I will say the ones I've shot have been good barrels. Some top shooters use them.

The only negative thing I've had from them has been magazines for the 50 and a scope base that was not true lt/rt.... the uppers have been fine.

OTOH, if really serious on accuracy, one would want a custom smithed upper, not sure the status of the grendel patent vs reamers for smiths though....

I don't have a whole rifle by them but I do have one of their .50 Beowulf uppers on an SP1 lower. It works fine except for the hunting magazine that I bought from them. I ditched it and put a plug in a regular GI mag to hunt with. It will shoot 3 shots off a reat into just over an inch at 100 yds. It would probably do better but the old SP1 trigger is pretty bad.

I have the 6.5 Grendel upper from them, 19.5 inch barrel. I only got this a little while before I left for a work project. I shot only 1 box of the Wolf 120gr ammo. I have to say accuracy was just within 1 MOA. This is with a new barrel and cheap ammo. I really like the caliber and cannot wait to get home, reload and play with it some more. Recoil and report are minimal and this caliber will be tried out on deer this season.
My lower is a Bushmaster with a JP trigger, which helps. I am seriously considering a Beowulf, just bacause!

I don't know a thing about the quality of this upper... but it has an attractive price:
