Well I'm typing this in NW Mich as it's snowing like hell and temp's are around 20 degrees, ya gota love it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I'd say a broken water pipe in the ceiling of the gargage did the deed. I'm sure the homeowner ain't a happy camper.

I could see that happening here now. Actually, it happened last January to some family friends. They had a beautiful home, and when they got back from florida, they found three feet of ice over just about every floor in the house. The pipe that broke was apparently in the top story. Anyways, they just finished gutting it and getting the wood floors + first three feet of drywall back together. Oh yeah, and did I mention it went down some of the walls and through the main floor in some places? What a mess. As to that happening recently though, I hadn't heard of besides this. Everything just melted yesterday though (Kinda annoying), so now everything is ice, at least in Grand Rapids. I have taken to having a little fun at the intersection of two little dead end roads with the emergency brake on my car (not above 10 mph just to be safe), and I've seen more than a few vehicles in ditches and such lately as well.
