I have an old Stevens 325 in 30-30 that is missing the front barrel band that attatches to the stock. I have been unable to locate one. Any suggestions on places to look?

Everything you now do is something you have chosen to do. Some people don't want to believe that. But if you're over age twenty-one, your life is what you're making of it. To change your life, you need to change your priorities.

off topic, but see there is a huge market for older guns such as this and a common complaint I see on various "only" websites i.e. Mossberg .22's etc is the scavenging of semi-complete or complete rifles for parts.
Congrats on keeping that one intact.

+ 1 As more and more people collect/discover older firearms, the parts become more valuable. Often, the parts are worth more than the market value of the firearms. Same as automobile recycleing yards.

I played hell getting my Mossberg 151M fully restored.
I paid as half as much for that rear swing out peep as I did the gun, LOL- But, its done. Complete. Quick detach sling studs, all the inserts, the front hood. Ah...300 tied up in a 150.00 outdated .22

priceless laugh

My Stevens is ugly as hell, but wanna keep it going. It makes an excellent low-recoil deer rifle for kids.
