i got mine today and got it all set up and then i went to the range. it was cold and i think that i got frost bite on my triger finger.

this is the first new SUCKS that i have owned i am a beliver now. the rifle is first rate and the second 3 shot group that i shot went way under and inch. now all i need is some good weather to work up a load or two and the a coyote to get in the way of v max.

Very nice shooting!

How does she handle? Have thought about one but wondered if it might be a tad barrel heavy.

it seams to balance right in front of the first action screw. it is quick to shoulder and the bolt is right up there with a tikka in smothness. i need to get the triger worked on then some good weather.

What's a SUCKS?? I've seen the term used a lot here, and never have been able to figure out what it means.

It is a derisive sounding name for the Remington 700. But actually used with affection. It goes back a couple years, and started with a post by one of our whiney-er forum participants

Okay. Got it!! You sure won't find me complaining too much about 'em. Aside from a few recent QC issues, same as everybody else, I think they're just great rifles. I've got a pile of 'em; a little trigger work, maybe some bedding tiks to clear up, and you're set.

Well at least one of you got it right On a more serious note I'm kind'a smitten by this LVSF and it's down to between it or a Tikka in .223. Tough call.

Of course, if Troy complains about his new designation, he will be moved up to the coveted Whiney +P+ category! LOL - BOSEG!

What took you so long ?

I too bow to the master, and will now refer to to it as whiney +P

On a gun related note, my 223 LVSF is on its way. Cost me a DCM Garand that I never shot plus $50. Now I need to figure out how to swing the optics that I want.

Regards,
Scott
