Investigators say the couple were just defending their family and probably won't be charged. Probably won't be charged?!?!?!  They should recieve a medal for saving the lives of their family as well as the next family the thugs went after! Too bad the first one will probably make it.

Too bad the first one will probably make it. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ It's not LE's call to make, they still have to go through the procedure of the investigation. In the investigation, it will be noted as to the series of events etc. Normally in most places, when the investigation is complete, the case file will be turned over to the local DA, for a decision as to prosecute or not. This is just a procedure of dotting the i's and crossing the t's. In this particular case it doesn't appear that any criminal wrong doing took place regarding the homeowner, it's just a procedure that has to be followed.
