Decided to take Tuesday off and chase pronghorn (or have them come to me).

I missed a very nice buck on the opener and have been trying to wait for him to show up again. Tried to decoy him on Sunday, but he wasn't fallin' for it. I decided if a decent one showed up I was slinging.

Here is one I passed up last week. Although not a great buck, he has character.

Action was pretty good, although most were dinks. Still big fun.

Bastage is giving me the tongue.:D

Another dink at 36 yards.

Couple thirsty pups.

Cautious coming in...

...but falls for it anyway.

My buddy passes through, but decides not to partake.

I decided if he comes back I will pull the trigger...he did...so I did.

Axl also made an appearance.

Best of luck to you out there chasing pronghorn.

Nice pics! And a dandy buck. I drew a MT speedgoat tag this year, and you have just officially fired me up... grin.

Thanks...

Dennis

Great job!!! I like the looks of that dude, he's got a lot of "cool" factor with those diggers. Just firmed up the connection today via phone with my buddy over South of Jordan, 20,000 acres and only 4 of us hunt it each year. It's a go and seeing this post is definitely getting me fired up. The .270 is dialed in and waiting in the safe...............

Very nice goat! Nice interesting cutters. How long is he, around 13"? P&Y is he not? It's been several years since I hunted them, my estimations may be off, just curious. Awesome buck either way!

Nice goat, and nice pictures.

Thanks for the luck, by the way. I'm pretty sure I'm going to need it.

Very, very fine buck. I seldom see an achery hunter get any pronghorn bucks.
Wonderful pictures. Thank you for sharing.
Would be interested as to what he scores. E

Nice goat and great pictures. I am not much for shooting them when they come to water, however. Seems unsporting to me.

I knew a guy who was so tall he could hunt 'em with a rake... laugh

Congrats on the pronghorn. On to the "real" goats next week, or you gonna wait for them to hair up?

Holy schit I hope that was a joke. Guy takes a nice goat with a bow and still gets a critique?

Nice job Craig. Glad you stuck one.
