Hello,
I just finished Eric Collier's three against the wilderness, and was wondering what happened to their son Veasy.
By the way,it was a great book.
Thanks.

Veasy is still around or in Williams Lake. Used to see him in the coffee shop on occasion. Haven't for a few months.

Wasn't that a great book? I still remember how I felt when they got the word their son was coming home from WWII.

Bt the way, if you enjoyed that book, you might like books by Clayton Mack about living in frontier Canada.

Thank you for the intel. What a way to grow up. I wonder if Mr. Veasy' life was/is as interesting now as it was then.
I'll check out the other books.
Thanks again,
L

I believe their son was in Korea, not WW2. He was a radio man in the P.P.C.L.I.

Collier's work is one of the best books I have ever read.

Glad to hear his son is still doing well.
