I treat my water with chlorine dioxide to kill the nasties. In the past I have used a particulate filter with a Nalgene bottle to catch any "large debris." I would like to switch to a bladder this year, (specificly the Camelbak Unbottle), but it doesn't appear that they offer a particulate filter.

Any ideas? What are some of you using?

A tedious solution would be just use the filter with the Nalgene, then pour into your bladder. Off the top of my head, I don't know of any bladders with any good built in filters. I'm sure there is one out there somewhere or you could rig something up.

Yah, I thought of that, but I want to ditch the bottle.

If you've already treated and just want to get rid of the "floaties", then a square of pantyhose and a rubber band will do the trick.

Hopefully full of "duck butter" for flavor! ;-)

I like using several coffee filters secured by a rubber band on my filter inlet hose. Nothing to clean up afterwards. Might try it in your application. - -

If there is any proof of a man in a hunt it is not whether he killed a deer or elk but how he hunted it.
