Love to see that video! I wonder how Mark Sullivan would have faired?

A friend who hunted with Karl just told me about this and I had to go looking for the story. Good thing it was a small cat. Cats can be very bad adversaries with claws on all four. Bit like a buzz saw, and then there are the fangs. Wow. Takes mental fortitude to face one down like that. Good thing you got hold of those paws!

Jeez Karl, killing leopards by hand now? When I come back hunting with you I am pretty sure that I am still going to want to use my rifle. I guess maybe you can catch one and hold it for me to shoot?

In all seriousness, I am glad you didn't get hurt any worse than you did. Amazing situation.

Take care,
Josh

You are lucky to get out of that scrape with out any major infections. I nearly lost a finger to a house cat bite when I was younger.
Great job. How much do you charge to teach your technique to visitors.
