I have a Marlin 45-70 LTD IV with no box in pristine condition. Less than 20 shots fired. Straight grip and has 24" octagonal barrel and it is 1 of 1000...that is for sure though.
Any ideas?

That depends on wether you are selling it or buying it. If you are selling it, it is worth MAYBE $250, if you are buying it, $400 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> You don't want that thing anyway. Too nice to use. Thanx Pop, but no thanks. I already have a 45/70 marlin but can always use another. Like octagon barrels too! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Winters a tight time of year for me though & I cant seriously entertain the thought of buying a gun right now. Now, if it were'nt for the saftey I might just let them turn the lights & phone off till spring. lol Good luck, I would think it will move quickly for you at that price, & if it dont,,,,, I might take it off your hands in the spring <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
