I found this on the net while looking for spotting scope prices. I cannot get a hold of the company to verify the price. Is it too good to be true.......or a typo??? http://www.buy.com/prod/bausch-lomb-elite-20-60x80mm-zoom-spotting-scope/q/loc/17250/200289814.htmlI am not sure i can post this link, if I cannot, please remove the post...ot I will if I can. Cheers SS

Is that for real? I can't bring myself to trusting it.

VA, you order one? Lemme know what you find out, and I will follow your lead. I am too skeered to put my CC # out there to them. Maybe if I can get them on a phone order tomorrow......?

Sitkaspruce,
Thanks for the info. I am not looking for a spotting scope, but ordered one anyway. I have been using my 12-42X56 NightForce as a spotting scope. I hope this thing works out.

I ordered one, it has worked out for me once on Amazon so we'll see. LOL!
Hope it does because I have been thinking about buying an Bushnell Elite 20-60X80 so this would def do. Not planning on it panning out though. Just making sure I didn't miss out.

Buy.com has a "get out of jail free card" where they say that they have no responsibility to sell mispriced products or services. #9 on the terms of service. Seems to be a real place though.

The B&L spotters are discontinued (now Bushnell). In case this is the real deal, I ordered one, too. I did notice on the email that Buy.com sent to me that the seller has two days to confirm the order, otherwise it's cancelled. I also noticed that the seller (Digital Photo Club) doesn't list it on their site. One more thing - Buy.com is now sold out of them. Yup, we'll see!

I had a few dollars more than the asking price in my PayPal account, so I decided to order one up as well, JFSAG ... figure that since I don't have any real use for one around here, and that it would only be used at the range, it's worth trying for under $40 delivered - that is, if the deal holds up to be for real ...
I'm doubting very seriously that any of us will see this happen though ... The $99 Nikon Monarch 6x42 scope sale was a 60% off deal, and everyone freaked out thinking that there's no way it could be right, and that it must be a typo in the ad ...
well, this one is priced at roughly 2.5% of the MSRP ... effectively, they are giving them away at this price ... and if you do a search for them, you'll see that most of them are on sale at other places for about $600-$800 ...
I'm guessing this is one of those things where they end up saying they are out of stock, and try to do a bait-n-switch to sell you something else instead ...

Will do, I would probably put the odds of this panning out at 5%.. if that. But if it does it was a great move.

The link now says it isn't available.
How much was it? Sounds like the $100 Nikon 6x42 that SWFA was offering last year that they didn't have.

Uh $28.19..... LOL! Wonder if it was supposed to be $281.99. That would still be a pretty good deal...

Anyone get any fraud charges on their account? I got one this morning for 65.00 out of state. My bank caught it.
