Just saw a short video on e-mail at a coworker's computer. Seems there are some 4-shot .22 caliber "cell-phones" coming out of Yugoslavia since about 2002. Big headache mostly in Europe, but US officials are watching for it too. Anyone else seen this? Kinda hate to make a mistake with one of those things, eh?? A year or two ago the Fed. LE agencies, sent some info. down on them to local and state agencies and basically explained them and said be ready, they'll be sooner or later. They already have one shooters made out of a pager on the street.

Saw something on that a while ago. Doesn't really surprise me. Just goes to show that you'll never keep guns from the hands of criminals. If the Taliban could attend flight school, and hijack a plane...anyone can go to a machine school and make a gun.

Back in the day, "hoodlums" as the grownups called them then would snap off car antenna and make zip guns out of the lower section. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> That along with a strong rubber band,small block of wood, and a pointed object (short nail, tack, etc.) for a makeshift firing pin. Very little skill involved, just an inclination to do harm <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> . ......joken2

BATF at one time had a display in their HQ that showed all kinds of homemade weapons, sword canes to pen guns, you name it, they've seen it. It makes me laugh when people talk about BATF confiscating all the guns. I've heard it said that given enough time, they could disarm the public. Not only do I think it's impossible, BATF agrees! Remember the pager holster that was out a few years ago? It was a fake pager that was attached to an IWB holster, so the gun was totally out of sight until you pulled it north via the pager. Face it, if you want to conceal a gun, there are lots of options! Hell, I locked up a guy years ago for DWI, and when we patted him down found a derringer between his southern cheeks! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> (It went into the evidence locker in a plastic bag!)
