Can anyone tell me something about these binos.I have been wanting to buy a pair of pocket leicas 8x20's but ran into these at a local gun shop. They are NIB and are marked "made in portugal". That is what puzzles me. When were leicas made in portugal? They want 225.

I had a Leica 8X20 that was "Made in Portugal" in the early to mid 80's. It was fine, had no problems. Seems like I paid around $175.00.
