Not really. This site is NOT in any way affiliated with Marlin Firearms. But I must tell you it reminds me of "home"..... Ranger

The most unfortunate thing for me about MT ending was that the dialogue ended with certain posters. I just don't know where to go to get most of the same group. I will say, though, that this forum is my favorite so far. It seems that the highest number of former MT posters wound up here. This is probably home.
I've found that I don't have the time to monitor and post on more than one forum. I'm glad you made it here.

I'm tired of moving around, Rick went way out of his way to help out MT people (thanks again Rick). This is a nice friendly no liability site and I'm stickin around.

I was a lurker at MT for a long time, found many of the old regulars at ShootersForum.com Quite a knowlegable bunch of guys over there and the comfy feel of home with their new forum categories. See everyone around. Puntgun

The www.Marlinowners.com site looks a whole lot like the www.Marlin-collectors.com site. Any connection between the two?

Marlin Owners looks like a good site. When I registered this morning, two people started to squabble over who had used a particular handle first, and the moderator jumped right in to put an end to it.
So far, our favorite wannabe Buddhist and one of our favorite fwiends fwom MT haven't shown up. I thought I saw the former on one of the rimfire forums when I was lurking around looking for the best site - besides this one, of course. Anyway, it didn't take him long to get right in the middle of a 'heated discussion', and I think he got the boot.
Anyway, Marlin Owners is worth a look! SW

NebrHogger,
The wannabee you are referring to is at Graybeard's and stirring it up on the Marlin Discussion forum. He has the moderators fooled for the time being.

Dave he does not have me fooled at all I just do not have any issues with the number of post he makes or any thing else as long as he behaves as is expected of any one else. Jim

As long as Dali is clogging some forum, I wont go there. I do like the single shot forum at GB, and I enjoy the Collector's forum at Marlin Owners, but I'll steer clear of the Marlin Talk forum at GB.

I don't have any problem with dali. He must be a lonely fellow? He does make me laugh tho. And I read only the posts I want to read and he does post some info that I'd not read anywhere else. Just my 2 cents. Jim

It's disturbing to me also to see a guy fussing about not being able to post at 1 minute intervalls. Obviously this guy has too much time on his hands. Maybe he is sick and cannot get out, but geeze! I left that joint because of the moderators letting it be that way. Maybe I don't have time to contribute much and post a bunch of knowlede that has been copied and pasted from another page somewhere on the net to show my skills, but I do enjoy the level headed people that I see the most of on these forums. Relax and have fun shooting. VOTE for BUSH Perry

That's great Dread, glad you enjoy him. I just get so worn out reading forwarded posts, and third person type posts, that I evntually ignore anything that has his name by it. I'm sure he thinks he's funny too, I just don't. I wonder if I was to sit and talk with him in person, would he be anything like his Dali character?
