Buddy of mine was looking at on of these the other day. He wanted to know what I knew about them...I don't really know anything about them. Does anyone have experience with them?

Straight up good pistol for not a lot of cash. Good ergonomics, second strike capability with the striker system, quite accurate and very reliable. Very good deal in my opinion.

I bought a OSS 24/7 when they first came out. Mine has the tan frame and is ambidextrous with a 5.25 inch barrel.

I really like the gun. It has a very slim grip for a 12 round 45 and is muzzle heavy. It has nice Novak sights. Very nice to shoot with very little muzzle flip.

I have put about 500 rounds through mine and only had a single FTF when it was brand new with the first magazine ever. I was not happy that it was shooting quite low and I returned it to Taurus. This was the first time I had ever returned a gun. I complained that it shot too low. They replaced the barrel and I got it back in less than three weeks. It now shoots dead on at 25 yards and is very accurate.

I am quite pleased with it. I paid 465.00 with and extra magazine. Good deal.

And by the way, I am a Glock Armorer and have a Glock 22, Sig 226, Browning High Power, etc. I like quality pistols.

On saturday I stuck a 24/7 PRO stainless .45 ACP on layaway at my local Cabela's. They had them new going for less then some of the used ones on Gunbroker.
Can't go wrong really, .45, 12+1, stainless, two mags, and a warranty for $350.
