I've got a Model 12 featherweight that fails to kick spent hulls clear of the receiver reliably. Anybody know any tricks for solving this problem?

Take a look at the ejector.. Does it show a fair amount of wear? the edge should be clean and sharp..

Thanks for the reply. I've been talking around and it looks like I'm not running the action hard enough when the failure to eject problem appears. The gun is a 95% beauty I found on a consignment rack a while ago--ejector is nice and sharp.

It's most likley the Extractor not the ejector, it's not holding the case tight enough to the bolt until it hits the the ejector and you get a sloppy eject.
