There are some cheaper options if that costs too much but that is a good product.

Gretan Rifles makes OUTSTANDING products,I've bought and relaced what few rifles I had with J-LOCKS with his products and would do it all over again without a doubt. I've built several Rem 700 actions into custom rifles and replaced all factory springs, shroud and firing pins with his products.

OA,
Check out Midway's site and search on Callahan. They go on sale every once in awhile.

Everything you now do is something you have chosen to do. Some people don't want to believe that. But if you're over age twenty-one, your life is what you're making of it. To change your life, you need to change your priorities.

Replacement firing pin assembly made to factory specifications
This firing pin assembly has a T-6 aluminum bolt shroud that is 60% lighter than the factory shroud. The firing pin assembly includes an extra power firing pin spring and a firing pin with a lightweight body and steel tip that greatly reduces lock time
The first is built to factory specs, the second one is said to be an improvement. You and your wallet know what you need and can afford.

So both will replace the J-lock, but one is just a 'fancier' fix.

Gotcha. Thanks. Taking into consideration that I will be adding a Jewell trigger to the gun, would you reccomend the Speedlock over the traditional? Or does it not matter...
Thanks again.

Speedlock all the way, esp if you are getting the Jewel. Just because you will always wish you had. The difference could probably only be measured with a benchrest rifle but that's not really the point.

I have used Tubbs Holland Gre-Tan Factory with and with out wart With the Gre-tan you get ALOT less spring drag on the inside of the bolt compared to the others listed. I just ordered 2 more gre-Tan jobs from PTG, they make them for Greg. Trigger just seems to break cleaner or crisper. I know this does not have anything to do with it maybe a better cocking piece, I dunno. I can not say this helped accuracy, becuase everytime one goes in a gun a new barrel goes with it.

http://www.pacifictoolandgauge.com/I ordered one directly from them for an M7, a Callahan from Midway. Each were about $30. PTG will sell direct, call them. Both guns still shot well with and with out.
