Folks, I have a tool from HS precision for bending clip lips.

The tool provides the opening of the clip, but it does not tell you which one to use.

The 22-250 clip has different lips then the 308win. Does anyone have a factory .223 clip where they can supply the lip length?

I have some 223 mags for the h-s det, but I dont understand what you want to measure.

I know most of those clips need to have the lips tweeked before they work right, once tweeked they work extreamly well, even with AI brass.

Theres more then lip difference betwix them clips, they have a spacer on the inside of the 223 clip to shorten the inside oal length, the 22-250 clip may be the same way. If I were to build a 22-250 AI rifle set up for heavy bullets I'd use a 308 clip.
