I like the idea but have not shot one yet. The Reezen IBO's about 20fps faster than my Drenalin but I think I'll stay with it another year or so. Now if I didn't just buy a bow last year I think I would have done ordered the Reezen. I'm not going to claim my older bow is better I just don't have the money to trade up every year. Remember when we wondered how they could improve on the Legacy?

Remember when we wondered how they could improve on the Legacy? Yes I do remember. I have the Switchback XT and love it...dont plan on selling or trading it in the future anytime soon either.

I couldn't decide between your bow and the Drenalin and the shop didn't have a XT in my size. I would still be trying to decide if both would have been in stock.
We can give them a few more years and they have bows as smooth as ours shooting as fast as the Monster. Then again the Monster may be real smooth I just don't expect to be as smooth as what we are shooting now.?

When I worked there I saw a 2 cam bow come through the shop. I think it was a Q2. That was back in 2001 I believe. Matt said he would never build a 2 cam bow. Evidently he found something he could make enough money on and decided to design a 2 cam.
Should be interesting. Just like the cam and a half that hoyt put out and took away alot of sales that year.
Marketing, marketing, marketing. That's what sells bows for the new year.

I hope anyone that is going to shoot these bows... wears an armguard. Because that really looks like it is going to hurt with that short of a brace height! If you can't get the speed that you want from a 7 to 7 1/2 in. brace height... something is wrong. Most all of these companies have gone overboard on speed, unless you are shooting expanding broadheads... 280 fps with a heavy hunting arrow is about all that I want or need.

I'm gonna shoot the Reezen- if it's anywhere close to my Drenalin, in terms of smooth draw, quiet, etc., I'm gonna buy one and use it as my primary bow for the near future, and save my Drenalin as my backup.
I used my Drenalin to smoke 7 game animals this season. I am totally committed to Mathews for their quality and innovation. That said- I don't see a 'Monster' in my future- the quest for speed won't stop until someone approaches rifle velocities from a bow, which ain't ever gonna happen. Seems that's why rifles were invented...

Bighorn I would love to be able to do the same thing.
eddief if the X-Force was as smooth as my Drenalin I would agree. As much as new bows cost we should all think our bow what ever kind it is rules. Be bad to drop that kind of coin and think another one is better.

Ha, Ha, Ha - Never say never! A Mathews 2 cam bow! Cracks me up! Looks like the single cam has really evolved....right back to where it started. They should have called it the Crow Eater. Now Mathews is copying PSE! Well at least with the whole single cam experiment the strings have improved.

If the Monster is as smooth to shoot as the "older" Mathew's bows and as foregiving then yes they saw the light and all the crow eating stuff will apply.

But... With the Monster having such a short brace height, maybe hard draw cycle, and that kind of speed I doubt it. Good chance I'm wrong, but I'd say they are just trying to meet the needs of customers. Some people would rather have a louder bow with more shock and give up some smoothness for extra speed. Not a thing wrong with that either. Some people shoot a 7mm-08 some shoot a 7mag and both work.
Bottom line I don't think no crow will be ate till the 2 cam bows prove to be better than a single cam in more ways than speed.

Yes, speed isn't everything. X-Force is fast, (but lots of others are too) but not even close to being as smooth and quiet as my Mathews DXT. Mathews rule...........And their records proves it. That said: There are lots of good bows out there.... To each his own. Shoot what feels good, like it, and enjoy it. Whatever pleases YOU.

I will add that I really hope I'm wrong. How cool would it be for a bow to shoot 340-360 and shoot like a DXT or some of the other brands that are just as smooth.
