I'm looking for a reliable, lightweight, inexpensive scope for a .22 rimfire. Since this won't be used for hunting in low light, I'm not especially concerned about fully multi-coated lenses. 4X would be more than enough magnification and I wouldn't be opposed to a 2x. I'm mainly interested in durability.
Thanks!

Inexpensive and solidly made - the Weaver RV4. It's a 4x28mm, with a 2-7x28mm as an option.

Look at a Nikon Prostaff 4x. About $100-$110 and parallaxed for 50 yds. Lots of guys use them on muzzleloaders and short range deer rifles.

The Weaver Rimfire scopes are a very good value. I have two of them. I also own some Leupold rimfire scopes, they're excellent but more expensive.

Another vote for the Weaver RV 4X.Dang good scope.I've actually had one of these on my slug gun for years and several hundred shots now, and its never missed a beat.
