Steve,
you may want to find out if you/us will be buying the entire run or only part of a larger run and also whether this is a one time run or maybe repeated in the future. Once they have tooled up once it is much easier the next time.
So you say why does it matter.
Well if you are buying only part of a larger run then you/us should not be expected to assume/pay the entire setup cost (included somewhere in the price of each piece) so the price/piece should be lower.
Also if the run is limited to say 10K and is bought by members here than I/us have much less sales competition if I decide to resale the brass that I/us buy and therefore, by supply/demand, the price I am willing to pay up front may be a little more since the resale price will likely be more due to limited supply.
But, if it is to become a special once a year run like Big W makes of say 25/35 that I buy from midway or grafs at $25/100 then I should not expect to pay more than that amount for 303sav.
Since I do not have a 1899/99 in 303sav, I am strictly looking at this from a money making point of view. I figure what I can make off of reselling it I ought to be able to buy a few more 1899/99 rifles and have $0 in them. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

In regard to my earlier post of 3/10; I'll also trade the follow- ing for .303 Savage empties if anyone is interested: 2-.32 ACP 71 or 60gr. JHP; 2-.25 ACP 35gr. JHP; 2-.41 Mag. 215 SWC or 210gr. JHP. If I can't get cases or ammo I'll have to sell my .303, 'cause if you can't shoot them or take them hunting what good are they?(the're nice to look at tho) Hoping to hear from someone, Contender

If made by known mfg. ( Win, rem, starline, etc) & price not too bad would go for 100 to 200 also.

First time posting here. Been watching and reading for awhile. I would go for 100 to 250 depending on price. Maybe 500 if it was in the ballpark of other virgin brass. Not likely I guess. Hope this works out.

Old Western Scrounger (Dave) tells me that brass costs about $17 per hundred to get it made by his sources...I don't remember whether that's for a "lot" of 50,000 pieces, or double that.
Anyway, if it was $30 per hundred or less, I'd take at least 500, more likely 1,000 pieces.
You can consider that a commitment for at least 500, payable upon availability.
