What is the favored progressive shotshell press these days ?
In years past, the MEC was highly recommended.
Will not be changing gauges on a single press but will buy a press for each gauge.

I've got two Lee load alls, a Mec 600jr mark IV and a Ponsness-Warren 375. They all share one good quality, they all make good shells! The Lees are cheap, come with all the bushings and I wasn't able to wear one out in 15 yrs making hunting loads. The Mec is new and so far I don't have one complaint. The Ponsness-Warren is the smoothest press I ever owned. Had it for about 18yrs now.
I think that if money is an issue, the Mec 600 jr is the way to go, mine way $139 completely set up. If monet doesn't matter, Ponsness-Warren is the press in my view. But I also think that most of the difference's in press's of like ability lies in the mind of the owner.

A Ponsness Warren is very, very hard to beat. It's what I use.

MEC 9000, I have both the G & H. One I use for 1 oz loads the other for 1 1/8oz. I also have a 12 year old Grabber for my 7/8oz loads. This years I've loaded 9600 rounds using all three, never a problem. For the money you just can't beat them.

I still use a hand me down 8567 Grabber for high volume 12 gauge loading. Other than that I use a Sizemaster in 12 and one in 20 for small batch hunting/target loads.

The Pacific DL-266 is my choice of press. Managed to find a couple on eBay with enough parts to last my lifetime. Also found dies in 10, 12, 20, 28 gauges and .410. My plan is to actually totallt rebuild my '266's if I can find the right kind of paint or baking enamel I like, in the colors I like.
Also have 3 or 4 DL-105's to modify and play around with to make some 1 3/4inch and 2inch length shells, in 12 and 20 gauge. Also have a complete die in 16ga for the 105's.
