I know what you mean everytime I get that Nelchina 'bou tag... I am not ordained by zip code to set a skate, but we will get by. wink

I keep putting in for sheep and watching those lowlifes from other parts of the State draw 'em! In my zip code and I do not get anything extra because of it! That is unfair! wink

Just because I live in the town that the river flows through does not make it mine.

Let me guess...most of you are guides, transporters, or own similar businesses for out-of-state/non-resident hunters/charter fishing, right? Now I get it. whistle Over and out.

Something tells me .....

You ain't got a clue !!!!!

Especially if you are still out trying to get meat in.

Obviously your needs are not being met with 30 Deer pr Sq mile ... how many Deer do you actually need?

I am probably the only guide on here !!!!

and I have lived at my Hollis Cabin more than 6 months this year ... Does that give me the right to join the Prince of Wales Island resident hunting club ??????

Todd Brinkman is still working on it ... he has been at it for 5 years now ... there have just been snippets released. He was keynote speaker at the Deer Dinner in Craig back in mid November at the Deer Celebration at the ANS Hall. I believe he has also found some Liver Disease .... among our Blacktail.

C&T finding for spotlighting ... don't laugh ... when I sat on the Deer Sub-Committee one young hunter form Hydaburg said exactly that ... on the Federal Register with LEO's from every branch at the meeting ... he stated "it is C&T for us to hunt up to Lab Bay and back every NIGHT" ....

The US Forest Service Ranger (before the current one) in Craig also tried to get 'pit-lighting' listed as a C&T finding !!!!!! He is the one who was pushing for sale of Subsistence taken Black Bear parts and pieces, also.

Not unlike the Kodiak folks insisting their poaching of goats on the road system was C&T...

I suspect Brother Dave would be the guy to give you the skinny on diseased blacktail in SE... Just guessing... wink

Pretty much...wrong. Pretty much just people who think that residents of Alaska, under our Constitution, have equal access to Alaska's fish and game, particularly on Federal public lands.

But so far equity doesn't prevail...

Well, you do live closer to it than I do so I guess you can call it yours. When the water runs high you can come stay up on the hill at my place.

Does that boat launch require mudboggers to get to the water?

It'll be a news story when it gets to my house, but do appreciate the offer. And no boggers needed at high tide! wink
