Last year I rebarreled my M1A with an 18 inch scout barrel. I finally got around to shooting it with iron sights and I cannot get it to shoot low enough, even with the rear sight cranked all the way down. Does anyone make a taller than standard front sight for the M1A?

Thanks, Tod

You will need a .675 sight. Check with either Springfield Armory, or Fulton Armory. Fulton has them in a night sight config.

They may have it in a standard cast unit as well.
