I like the three position side safety on my CZ 9.3X62, but it is noisy with distinct clicks when it goes into each position. Its location matches that of my other primary hunting rifles so I don't want to go to a M70 type safety. Are there any ideas out there about how to silence a 550 safety and keep the positive three position function?
