The shoe thrower has been identified as Muntadar al-Zeidi, a correspondent for Al-Baghdadia television, an Iraqi-owned station based in Cairo, Egypt. Might have guessed it, just another news media hack with Bush Derangement Syndrome.

Try that with Saddam a few years back and you would find yourself hanging from your thumbs while getting filleted. Welcome to freedom. You're welcome ahole.

If that'd been a sawed-off 12 or a hand grenade, Bush would be in a bag.

Or better yet - passengers noticed a guy messing with his shoes on a plane, but some other guy in a room full of secret service, cameras and "impartial observers - media" completely did not notice the guy yanking a show and going into a wind up.

They don't search people for shoes! I'm thinking that they probably did a pretty good job of searching for the other things.

Bush dodges shoes thrown by an angry journalist BAGHDAD On an Iraq trip shrouded in secrecy and marred by dissent, President George W. Bush on Sunday hailed progress in the war that defines his presidency and got a size-10 reminder of his unpopularity when a man hurled two shoes at him during a news conference. "This is a farewell kiss, you dog!" shouted the protester in Arabic, later identified as Muntadar al-Zeidi, a correspondent for Al-Baghdadia television, an Iraqi-owned station based in Cairo, Egypt. Bush ducked both shoes as they whizzed past his head and landed with a thud against the wall behind him. "It was a size 10," Bush joked later. The guy must not have a sole. Well, he certainly wasn't straight laced, nor tongue tied.

The guy probably just did it just for kicks, but he's stepping on thin ice with a stunt like that.
