Is there any other Queer As Folk fans in here? I like Michelle Clunie, Robert Gant, Thea Gill, Gale Harold and Chirs Potter, how about you?

Thought he was more of a Troll, myself.

He would preach against the sin of homosexuality, and if a repentent queer showed up seeking forgiveness and a changed heart -- he'd get it when he truly repented and trusted Christ as Saviour. Until that happens, he's headed for a flaming that will be called Hell. Just so you know.

What did the one pastor call it? the great unsaved north?

You are spot on. I think of the story of the adultress woman. He said "neither do I condemn you , go and sin no more." People forget that part. "Go and sin no more!"

Not a lot of queers in these parts. Men tend to be men, and women tend to be women. It's the gospel of Jesus Christ's death, burial and resurrection when believed that saves a man or women, not their sexual "persuasion" anyway. And as far as "winning over people with a deep identity crisis" goes, once a person repents of their sin and trusts Jesus Christ for their soul's salvation, they are "identified" with Him -- no more crisis. Homosexuals don't suffer from an identity crisis -- they suffer from sin, the same as drunkards and glutons and other vile persons. Sin is sin, and ALL sin can be forgiven by the application of the blood of Christ. But y'all fill yer boots there, olgrouser . . . . . and feel free to come up to the great unsaved north and give identity to those poor souls in crisis. And I'll take any free lessons on ministry that you might offer . . . . . backed up by scripture, of course.

So I guess you're winning over a lot of people suffering with a deep identity crisis in your ministry... The fellow that started this thread was trolling and received the appropriate response. He wasn't "suffering" from anything but maybe lack of attention and wasn't going to be "won over" anyways. Just games.

Spot on as usual Shootist. Somehow folks think that there's 2 Gods of the Bible. The Old Testament God and the New Testament Christ.
They are One and the same. The One who destroyed Sodom is the Christ of the New Testament. Today, grace and mercy is available for all who will receive it. For those who won't, judgement awaits...
All love John 3:16, but to many never read verses 17, 18, and 19....
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:17-19 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the Light, because their deeds were evil.
