The cost of this stuff today is ridiculous. I have 2 F 4-s, a Hasselblad 500, and the full compliment of flashes and lenses. I've probably got $8000 in top of the line equipment amassed over a lifetime of photo work. Nikon wants $8K for a camera body?

$900 is a huge price drop for a gray market product. The difference there should be more like $100-150. I'd be very cautious of those prices unless they were from a very well regarded dealer. GM typically means no USA warranty.
