S/A
I retrieved my file of old Ruger catalogs in response to your query. The short answer is NO!
As I'm sure you know, The K1-BZ (Stainless #1-B) first appeared in 2001. It was cataloged in .243 Win, .25-06, .270 Win, 7mm Rem Mag, 7mm STW, .30-06, .308 Win, and .300 Win Mag. Thus I can tell you it was certainly never
catalogued! (BTW... the 1-S model was never made in SS except in the .45-70..)
However as you know, some distributers are known to comission special runs. That said, I've never seen one. But I did see a K1-BZ in 7mm-08.
If I may be so bold as to ask.... What is this fascination with SS?
I have always like the intrinsic beauty of laminated stocks, but in reality they are too heavy to be practical on a #1 that is already too heavy to hunt with as it is... Just idle thoughts from a mostly idle mind. ..
