No. But I can't remember if it can go mail or by parcel service. I believe someone has to sign for delivery. I bought some of the PMC 45-70 ammo from Sportsmans Guide and I think it came by a local courier service, South St. Paul to Eau Claire. Another time it came UPS. According to this it can't go by mail: http://cartridgecollectors.org/shipping.htm

No FFL is needed but the US Postal Service (ie the regular mail) will not carry it. UPS will carry it though.

No FFL required and Dirt Cheap Ammo ships UPS and they show up looking real good sometimes. Just ask around the board for the pic of the one UPS Driver! Man that would make you forget about your ammo, quick! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

I've ordered ammo from Nathez and Cabelas plenty of times. Ships UPS just like anything else.

George,
I've send ammo USPS a couple of times and haven't had any problems. Asked the Postmaster of our local office and he said no problem. I was going to send it by way of Mail Boxes Etc. (which is owned by UPS) and they told me they would just take it down to USPS and mail it off, and charge me an additional $25 for their trouble! (I'm not so sure the girl behind the counter was supposed to give out this information). So I saved them the trouble and took care of it myself.
