What has been your luckiest year with hunting success and other things? I'll start first(obviously). My luckiest year was 1994. It all started when I harvested a P&Y black bear while bowhunting in Ontario. Then in early fall I won tickets to see a Chicago Bulls game at Taco Bell. Well it gets even weirder. At the game my ticket number was called out to participate in the halftime free throw contest to win a Chevy mini-van. My luck held out and the other contestants were worse at shooting free throws than I was. I hit 5 out of 10 to win the van. I was able to convince the dealer / taco bell rep to give me a pick-up of slightly lesser value because I could use it more. Then in December I harvested my first P&Y buck. He was an 8 point that scored 154". What a year! After the Bulls Game I did buy lottery tickets but they weren't even close. Two P&Y animals, bulls tickets and a pickup truck in one year! I guess a man is only entitled to one year in a lifetime but I'm still hopeful......

1985. I don't remember the hunting season, but I married the love of my life, and God blessed us with a very good son.
2nd Best year. 1993. Had a real good year on a local dirt track, and killed my nicest buck ever on the last day of the season. Can't beat that!
7mmbuster
