I am only a simple mountain boy from the remote and wild Kootenays of B.C. and, where computers are concerned, I am dumber than a bag full of hammers, although smarter than any type of Liberal.

Anyway, I would like to be able to gain access to all of the older posts on backpacking made in the past before I joined this estimable forum. If, some wise, kind soul would advise me on how I may do this, I would be very grateful.

go to the bottom of the page, left side, under 'extra information' and you can change the dates of the posts shown.

I am kind a figuring this myself. What I do is go to the search at the top of the main page after logging in. From there you can navigate under specific forums, how new or old, and some specific parameters to try and find what you are looking for.
Hope this helps a little.

Go down to the bottom of the page and change the time-frame of active threads to a year and you will see more.
