OK for the sake of the other newbies out there I have a question for the grizzled sages here. What exactly is pre-mil? I know it's a dumb question but I am here to learn.
Every immigrant who comes here should be required within five years to learn English or leave the country.

Someone should really sticky what pre and post-mil means.
All it means is that a pre-mil is under one million, as in serial number range and post-mil would be above it.

Pre-mil is a serial number lower than 1 million. That milestone happened at the beginning of 1960, so pre-mil also means pre-1960.
Mfr'ing changed at that point, and earlier is better for quality.
