I"ve forgotten more about it than you are EVER gonna learn. 160 gr 357, 1500 fps, sufficed for Colonel Wesson to take elk and grizzly. .45 is 60% more surface area than 357. Swc's dont expand, 165 gr hydroshoks or powrballs do expand, at 1400 fps. You can always go with a 6" barrel, 460 Rowland, 160 gr swc's at 1550 fps, if you like. 29 oz lw Commander.

Your brain is leaking at random now hardin. You didn't spout anything I didn't already know. Ya just can't learn everything by reading. And BTW we're talking about HUNTING, not SHOOTING. You don't get to do much of that on the pistol range.

wrong, twit, I've always hunted all year long. A poacher like me has more kills in a year than clowns like you see in 10. :-)

Any moron can kill game in the off-season and/or skirting the rules, with little difficulty. It's following the rules that changes how you must do things. Poaching does not = hunting. But it doesn't surprise me that you don't know the difference. It's sticking to a season (and having a job to go to the rest of the time) that dictates restraints and methods. Of course, you would know nothing of any of that.......Hey - we've had this discussion before. Maybe you haven't changed a bit. -FreeMe

RRW, pulled 5 Nile Perch out of the stock tank this morning. It is a natural tank not a tin one.

No fishing, but I've been gettin' out for a bit of trail riding. Woulda went riding today, but I'm waiting out some weather - and shopping for a new trailer for the bikes. After 17 years of marraige, the wife suddenly decides she wants to ride the trails with me (good!), so I get her a bike, then one for the daughter. Now the old trailer's cramped for space...
Things was cheaper when I did 'em alone...

Sounds like fun. Haven't been on a dirt bike in years. Sure is fun though. With everyone in your family liking them, that is sure gonna get expensive! The last dirt bike I had was a 1972 Suzuki 400mx, it was less than 6mos old and I gave $600.00 for it. Took all my harvest money to get it. Was worth every penny though. Should've kept it, but sold it after I got married. Damn the luck, I'd probably still have it. Got rid of the ole gal later on too <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />.

yeah, right, like the presence of rules and other people make it "hunting", right twit? so none of the Indians or the frontiersmen EVER hunted by your bs definition. :-) What an idiot.
If I want to compete with men, I COMPETE, dummy. I've done very well in combat competition, both Rifle and pistol, against the world's best, on many occasions. Twits like you aint got what it takes to do that, so you THINK that hunting makes you a top hand. I prove that you are nothing of the kind, and it ticks you off. :-)

Now around their beer drinking buddies in private maybe. This sounds like someone just blowing smoke or a kid.
