Looking for 6.5-06 loads. We are using 139 GR Scenar bullets. So far we have RL-22 and 4813 SC
Thanks

Celt, I'd give N560 a whirl since you stock it. Start with the VV Data for the 6.5-06 and I think you will be pleasantly surprised at the performance.
If memory serves me correctly, I worked up to 56.5gr N560 in Lapua brass (reformed 30-06) sparked by a Fed 210M primer. I liked the lighter bullets in that round (123gr Scenars) since most of what I did was at less than 500 yards, but I did get good results with the recipe above.

Celt; My pet long range load with my 6.5-06 is the 139 Scenar in necked up WW 25-06 brass, sparked by the WLR primer and loaded with 60.0 grains of H1000. This gives me 3000 FPS [+-6] and groups that will make your eyes water. However, my friends 6.5-06 will not take this load without showing pressure signs, so start at 56.0 and work up carefully.I have shot groups at 800 yards that are less than 5" with this load. Another load that has worked almost as well is 58 grains of Vihtavuori N-165. Regards, Eagleye.

Mine doted on 57 grains of RL22 behind 140 grain Hornady AMAX bullet at just over 3,000 fps. The Scenars should take a similar charge. Flinch
