I know you can not grab a facemask to tackle a runner but don't know whether you can grab hair? How about it. Is grabbing hair (hair on the head coming out from under a helmet) OK?

Yep, you can tackle by the hair. Got OK'd after Ricky Williams got tackled by his hair a few years back

Ditto what the others said. If it sticks out from the helmet, its considered part of the uniform and ok to grab.
