I want to get a 308 caliber barrel rebored & rifled in 358 caliber. The rifle in question is not offered in the caliber I want, stepping up from a 308 winchester to 358 winchester cartridge.
Any recommendations for someone to do the work?
Also, what is the right twist rate for 358 Winchester?
Thanks

I was in Danny Pederson's shop a while back and he rebored one to .358 cal- He does good work. I have no idea what twist to use, I'm sure he does. Here is his link Classic Barrel works

Member Weagle has reported his satisfaction with Jesso Ocumpaugh at J.E.S. Reboring. In addition to 358, he also rebores to 338 Federal.

I tried both emailing & calling Dan Pederson's shop with no reply. Don't know what the issue is there, but the contact information on his website did not work for me.
Thanks for the info.

Jeff Yep, I'd highly recommend Jesse. He rebored my marlin 30TK from 30-30 to .375. Turnaround was very fast and it shoots great. Cost was $150 plus shipping IIRC. Weagle

'Nother + on Jesse. Had him re-bore a 30-30 to 38-55. Great work and fast turn-around time. He only lives 30 miles down the road from me, so I got to deliver my rifle in person and talk with him. Great guy to deal with. Virgil B.

I had thought about referring to you as "Brother Weagle", rather than "Member Weagle", but 24HCF isn't a fraternal order and we don't have a secret hand shake, do we?

Laughing. "Brother Weagle" has a good ring to it, but I don't know the handshake either.
