Inspector , my apologies for the confusion that comes from poor spelling and grammar. Sometimes it's hard to come up with the right terminology to get my message across. When that happens I'll keep coming back until I've get it right. I'm not just another "Bush basher" , I voted for this guy in the last election. Only to find out his position after the election on pardoning the illegal Hispanics, but now that he has attacked another country without just reason. Now my intentions is to go out of my way to try and correct a voting mistake.

The term I was trying to come up with by using "doctor an", might have been better described as scriptures written by Moses that does not exist in most modern-day Bibles.

Please don't take this is wrong , but I'm not trying to win a popularity contest .

Handloader, while your post is very good, I go a step farther. What is the difference in "radical" Islam and those Muslim who profess to love US "infidels" but to my knowledge have never (in any large numbers) publicly condemned their "radical" Islamic brothers?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

muygrande1 You make a valid point. The silence of the American Muslim communities has been noted on the national and local levels. That said, the Phoenix Muslims are holding a "Loyal American" rally on April 25th @ Patriot Square. I'll attend with the expectations that there will be a strong statement issued and to see if it supported by a significant number and whether they decry the terrorists and radical Islamics.

I reckin' I'm a feller who thinks Bush ain't been upfront with the American people, ain't looked out for the interests of the common Joe, and ain't managed the economy for anything 'cept the short term. That said, I also want him to run, and LEARN. I want him to learn what he should have known, that he is every american's president, not just the special interests, CEOs, and those with million dollar portfolios. I don't much care for Kerry, as he is just another career politician. Bush may be our best chance for non-Washington representation, as long as he learns from his mistakes and starts trying to be the leader his ads tout him to be. Maybe he'll start readin' 24-hour and we can straighten the feller out. Its a sad fact, but we really ain't got much to choose from for the most demanding job going.

Enuff 'bout politics, anybody know who makes the best jelly beans? I like the old fashioned kind, with plenty of black ones in the bag. All the brands we found were funny tasting and slim on the blackies.

I believe Brach's markets all black packages. I do like the Brach's the best, like you I think many of the others taste is a bit off.

The Target store we went to ain't got any Brachs at all. Plenty of spicey ones, starburst ones, and outright no taste-sugary ones. I'd like to have a bag of solid black, but the women folk wouldn't let me buy one if I was to see it. Another thing that gets my back hair on end is the way they bastardized malted milk balls. Puttin' candy coating on them no less! Everbody knows a proper malted milk ball is chocholate coated. Damn generation Xers got no respect for tradition.

Mule--that's for sure--candy coating on malted milk balls is a sure sign of a society in decay. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> Give me a while and I'll figure out how it's Clinton's fault.

It's Clinton's fault because no one wanted anything to do with him or Al Gore anymore . Mr. Gore connection to the Clintons is why no conservatives crossed party lines and the rest is history.

Jelly Belly's are the best, and you can buy all black. They are what my kids want every Easter. If you haven't tried them, you really have to. The pear are great, but the popcorn is kind of wierd tasting, just doesn't seem right in a jelly bean.

Man, you got two of my pet peeves in on post. Not only are they supposed to be CHOCOLATE coated, they are supposed to be ROUND, after all, they are malted milk BALLS.

You will just have to buy the women two bags apiece and then get you a whole bag of the black ones!

Gotta agree with the jelly bellys, best jelly beans I've been able to get ahold of. Got some wierd flavors (understatement) but the normal ones are good.

Same here on the sour flavors, they packaged a assorted flavors bag of those that I enjoyed.

The popcorn, while being "popcornish", isn't one of my favs by any stretch. If I want popcorn flavor, I'll eat popcorn, not jelly beans.

Probably my least favorite, as well.

The college in Pendleton, OR used to sell individual flavors, by weight.

I have seen them sold by flavor/wieght as well but never ALL the flavors. Most the shops I found would only have a couple dozen flavors.... For the weird ones you had to buy them prepackaged, and many times you were largely guessing what flavor it was that you were eating.
