Howdy all-
I'm looking for some 5 round Rem 541 magazines, or the 5 round mags for the Nylon 77 which I understand is interchangeable with the 541. Not so interested in any 10 rounders unless they're cheap. If I can find 2-3 of the 5 round mags and maybe a single 10 round mag I should be set. I bought a 541T recently from pullit and would like to have a couple of magazines in case I misplace the ones that I have.

Midway had some of the Nylon 77 mags recently but were sold out again the last I looked.

If you don't snag any here, you might try Brownell's and e-gunparts.com
They may have them.
Good luck with your new 541. They're the best kept secret in good 22 rifles.

Thanks Don, I haven't looked on Brownells recently, but I think Numrich only had the 10 rounders.

I just checked Brownell's catalog and all they carry are the 10 round 541 magazines; Part Number 767-330-000AB

I have several m77 rifles, are the 541 mags steel? Do you know if the 541 mags will fit the 77? 77 mags that I have are junk plastic(zytel??).

The Nylon 77 mags and the 541 are supposed to be interchangeable. There is supposed to be a more pronounced "V" notch in the 77 clip but it's supposed to work OK.

Both the 77 and 541 mags are plastic, so same/same. It would have been nice to have had a metal mag for them, but a lot of folks seem to have pretty good longevity with the plastic.

Looked at Midway again this evening and it looks as if the Nylon 77 mags are back in stock, I ordered a couple so I should be set for now.
