I had to do a double shift last week and ending up working all my days off. By the time I got around to taking up my other hobbies a squatter had moved in Upon further examination here's the contents of new domicile It's a Carolina Wren for those who might not recognize the handiwork. I put up a couple boxes for them to use but I guess she didn't like the neighborhood. She'll be lucky if the cats or snakes don't get her or the little ones!

Looks like you'll be needing another bag for a few weeks. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> Hope she makes it. I've got so many doves in my magnolia trees the dang Boykin spaniel is driving me nuts barking at them.

My father-in-law once had a square mile of irrigated field (fallow, that year) just outside of Hathaway, MT (Post office and bar west of Miles City). My Lab spent 3 can-see to can't-see days trying to catch (at a dead run) every dove that landed in the field, before giving up out of sheer exhaustion, I think.
He would also comment- loudly- on every working flock of geese you drove right on by. He was simply astonished we were too dumb/blind to see those birds!
