I've only just started reloading for the .17 Rem, since ammo has become so expensive here (about $45 for a box of 20). Anyway .17 dies have become quite hard to get & I managed to get the last one from a dealer in another State.

The dies were sold to me new but looked like someone had had a go at them. The lock ring on the seater was on so tight it took quite some effort to loosen it but I did. When it came to using them the hex (worm) screw was so worn that I could not get it tight.

I emailed RCBS from their website & explained the problem. They said no problems. I thought they would just send me the little grub screw. But I just recived a package today & they sent me 2 complete lock rings and a replacement decapping rod for the .17. Its only been a week since they replied & I have it in my hands in Sydney, Australia.

Wow, thanks RCBS! Great customer service.

I've said it twice today ( the other about Leupold in "Optics") but you Americans really define what great customer service is. Well done!!!

Regards
