Im looking at trying some ramshot eather big game or hunter i reload for 06 and 243win both powders will work according to ramshots guide in the 06 165-180 grain bullets and in the 243 70-80grain bullets what ram shot do you guys think that will work equaly well for both?

thanks guys i see big game is faster than 4350 i use in the o6 but slower than 4064 that i use in the 243 but hunter is slower than both??

I agree with Hammerdown. Hunter works real well in the .30-06& the .270 Win. as well.Fine accuracy and velocity in both.Good luck

Big Game is one of my favorite Ramshot powders. Either would work but with the 243's capacity I think Big Game would be a better fit. I've used both in various cartridges(243,260,30 06,300WSM) and find I get similar velocities and great accuracy with both.

Big Game works really well in .30-06 with 150 grain bullets. Heavier than that I would choose Hunter. Same with .243- Big Game with lighter bullets, but Hunter with deer weight bullets.
