Anza makes good working knives. I have an Anza Olie that I bought at least 15 years ago. It works well for squirrels and such.

I have about 5 of them and buy them as gifts for my friends. They are indeed made out of files and care must be taken to avoid rust. They are my favorite hunting knives. They hold an edge like you wouldn't beleive and are a cinch to sharpen. At our local gun show there is a dealer that sells Anza knives exclusively. He also sells blade blanks, minus the handles, which I've been buying and completing.
Hope this help. Dave

Check out their web page for more info. I have a small skinner, and that rascal is sharp. Cool knives, and the remaining file pattern is pretty neat. http://www.anzaknives.com/

I have 6 or 8 Anza's, small to medium, including a fillet. I bought them about 8-10 yrs ago in the $25-50 range and they are dated. They all have the colored dymondwood scales and file marks except the fillet. I think it is spring steel. I like the looks of the older, colored scales more than the newer ones. Great working knives, but they will rust. Some of my pouch sheaths are sewn and some are riveted.
